Hi there. I'm a healthy 38 year old that has NEVER had any issues with gout, nor any other medical
problems, I'm very active, eat really well ( no high protein ), but have truly been "stressed out" lately.
I lost my father on April 2, moved 3 times in 3 months, have a new job, and am expecting to lose
my grandmother soon. . . among other daily stresses. My difficulties have given me incredible strength, and
emotionally, I have been doing exceptional; however, I feel that during times of stress. . . and no matter how strong
you are, subconsciously, your body can manifest stress in very unexpected and unusual ways. This is NOT what I expected though. SOOOO painful! I had major jaw surgery quite a while back, and that pain is NOTHING in comparison to gout pain.
Anyhow. . . just had to comment on my experience to help others out there.
Comments for 38 years old and 1st bout of Gout - lot's of stress may be the reason
