Hello,
I am a woman and had my first ever attack of gout at the age of 52. OUCHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!
I'm not one who goes to doctors so I was on the internet looking for home remedies. I came upon Apple Cider Vinegar as a solution for the pain....I tried it and the pain started going away. After one day of taking 1 teaspoon with a water chaser every 4 hours, the pain was subsiding. My mom had a book about all the good virtues of vinegar.....I remembered this too late.
My dad always said to take 1 Tablespoon of vinegar to help for heartburn. I never had heartburn so I never used straight vinegar.
My trick is this. I think of it as eating deviled eggs. Now don't think this is funny. I put apple cider vinegar in my deviled eggs cause I like that tart taste.....and viola I think I am eating deviled eggs.
Hey, it takes all kinds.
I also read that this typically happens in men and mostly in women after menopause........ food for thought.
