41 year old male.
I've had gout in my big toe and my ankle (both on the right) for a number of years and my doctor prescribed some medication which did help with the gout but the side effects were not pleasant (diarrhea). The cure wasn't exactly worse than the dis-ease but I was searching for a cure that didn't include being within a few feet of a toilet.
I tried two tablespoons of ACV and two tablespoons of honey with 4 oz. of water. I have always disliked the smell of ACV (preferring red wine vinegar for cooking) but was willing to try anything. I used tried various amounts of ACV, honey & water searching for something I could drink without gagging and still drink in a few swallows. The above ratio works well for me.
I've also tried an ACV wrap that seems to work well with in combination of the above. I've only had to use the wrap when I forget to take the ACV/honey/water drink once or twice a week. I forget and the gout shows up two to three weeks later.
In short, ACV combined with honey and water works! Taken once or twice a week and I'm gout free.
