Gout and Stress

by Rafael
(No. Brunswick, NJ)

I have been suspecting that gout and stress are related and I am happy to know that I am not the only one that has noticed mild gout attack associated with stressful event.
I have been very careful on my diet and water intact but when I have a stressful day I normally wake up that night with mild to average pain on my feet regardless of how good I did drink water that day.

Last night I was watching my daughter's ( homecoming) high school varsity soccer game which was really exciting but stressful considering how much we want them to win and I had trouble winding down before bed time. This is not the first time and I definitely believe there is a relationship between gout and stress.
