I just had my second gout flare up. It'd been developing but I ignored the first twinges, and through my ignorance, wound up with a full blown 'flare'. Not wanting to go to the doctor, for he'd only recommend testing, and then something from 'big pharma', I went to the internet. I knew the benefit of black cherries, and unfortunately, didn't appear to work fast enough this time in relieving the symptoms; large, inflamed left toe, unable to put pressure on the foot while walking.
After 1 day on ACV: 3 tablespoons ACV, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, a bit of organic honey, 3 times a day, I'm sitting here pain free with my toes slightly curled. I still have the swelling, but the redness is totally gone.
Needless to say, I'm a believer. And I'm not so conceited to believe I'm so unique, and that this will not work for any of you that have gout.
Don't know how long to take this amount, but will continue to do so until I'm 100%, and based on the first day, figure it will be only a couple of more days, before I can cut back a little, say twice a day, 2 tablespoons or so, to keep the gout at bay.
Sincerely yours,
Jim DeHart (a ACV believer from the USA).
