left knee swells with stress

I am a 36 year old male who suffers from gout. I looked up the Site to see if stress and gout were related. I

t seems like everytime something stressful happens my right knee swells uncontrollably. To the point where it has no movement. I had it drained 1 week ago and it is swollen up again. I have an appointment with a Rheumatologist and I will also look into antidepressants. I hope this solves my issue because I am losing valuable time at work because I cannot walk during these flare ups.
