I was at work sat at my till. Started getting shootimg pains in my left big toe, well i went on my break, went into the rest room, took my shoe off, the pain was so bad i could not get myshoe on again, i was limping and needed to go home, went to my doctors first, sat for a couple of hours , resting helped to carm the pain, by the time i see the doctor i was able to get my shoe on to go home, couple of days i was ok, went back to work, now this week i stubed my toe, its hurting a bit, just hope my gout does not start up.

Hi Kelly,

Interesting how your gout reduced fast.
Have a look at what you ate and drank within a few days before the attack. This will indicate what makes your gout flare up.
Gout can also easily flare up when you stub a toe or hurt a limb. Its like shaking a tree and the leaves fall, gout crystals just seem to just flow to the injured area and the body sends out is immune fighting system to attack the gout causing pain and swelling.

KEEP drinking lots of water. Its the cheapest gout cure there is.
