OK...I started with Tart Cherry Juice for my gout
Hi...I have had gout off and on for nearly 15 years. My Uric Acid levels are through the roof...sometimes over 12, but usually 7-8. I heard about tart cherry juice and started buying it. Just a few ounces every day. No serious gout attacks at all. Today, at the local Krogers, it was on sale. I mentioned it to the woman stocking the shelves and she said "Have you tried the $20 a bottle stuff?" I was amazed at the high price and said no, and she pointed it out to me. Concentrated yes, one tablespoon per 7 oz of water...but $20? Then another woman overheard us and said my "My mother had gout, and swore by this"... and pointed out Braggs ACV. I said well, I have apple cider vinegar at home...and she said no, it has to be unpasteurized. We have a man who drives down from Virginia and buys 20 bottles at a time. So I said what the hell. If it means I can start eating asparagus and calves liver again! We will see.....
