I was diagnosed as having DVT in my right calf, I was put on Warfarin 6.5 mg daily, this medication bought on a very severe bout of gout, so bad that I was having to use a wheel chair to get around, I have been prescribed alopurinol and as yet I still have very painful bouts of gout. it has been 6 weeks now since the DVT and I am wondering if anyone has had this happened to them, any suggestions please?
