Know what makes your body sick!

I'm interested to know who told you watching foods is not good and you lose vitamins? Sure some foods are rich in nutrients you need but possibly supplements are the answer then. I have flare ups each time I eat a food my gout is sensitive to and I am responsible for the repercussions. I've managed these incidents by avoiding beef, pork, beer and there are lots and lots of ways to get the essential proteins found in these meats. AND...there are lots of alcohols that don't contain purines that trigger gout. My advice is to get into the research and find natural remedies. Apple cider vinegar and cherry juice are great but avoiding the triggers is even better! Medication is not always the answer. It seems to be prevalent in this website. Exhaust the resources that are readily available to you from on-line sites that teach about PREVENTION of gout and natural remedies to treat it's symptoms.

I had begun allopurinal 100 mg, and will go to 300 and stay on it forever. Foods and stress trigger it, but watching so many foods is not good for you're also eliminating many vitamins.
