My father is 86 years old and has gout in his leg and foot. I have been telling him for months to see a specialist such as a rheumatologist to correct this serious problem.
He has been seeing a doctor and the leg seems like its getting worse, this doctor which has know idea what to do for him. This leg drains fluids all the time and is hot to touch and so swollen two times the size of the other leg.My father is on blood thinners for his heart condition. He will not listen to me to go see a specialist.I think this is a roller coaster with no brakes and its something I can't stop. I need help, maybe a letter from you to talk my dad in going to a specialist, before its to late. tony in New York
