When Gout kicked in for the first time 40 years ago when I was 20yrs

I play badminton. When I got up one morning and found that was this pain on my left foot. I thought it was a sprain.
I did know about gout. I got my wife to massage it. Worst thing you could ever do. As I was a sports man I related it to a sprain. So please note. If are not a sports man and this pain starts mainly on your toe get a blood test for uric acid.
Now I have been a gout suffer. (it hit me in toe knee,ankle,on the side of both feet) It lasted for 2 weeks)
Now I am on medication. Avoided all drinks and food causing gout). When I get gout the Most Important think I do is think back what I ate and add it to my list. If I gout again I look at my list and see it was there. I just discovered that tin Pilcards was the culprit. So it is a good idea to start you own list. Now I am on Alpuranol 200mg and have started on the Apple cider vinegar bought from a health shop a month ago.
