Control by gout attacks with baking soda.

I first heard about this treatment on this website several years ago after a particularly nasty flare-up.

I regularly control by gout attacks with baking soda.

I use it preventatively and in reaction to an attack.

As I've had several bouts, I can sense the symptoms start to appear a day or so before they kick in. If this is the case, I start my baking soda doses at the first sign of symptoms and I've never had a major flare-up.

If I miss the symptoms and happen to get an attack (rarely now), I use the treatment and usually within 24hrs I go from limping to walking normally.

Great treatment. I also increase my intake of green veggies and green tea while I'm treating myself with baking soda and I eliminate almost 100% of the salt that I can from my diet.
